David Cruden

David Cruden received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Honours School of Geology at the University of Oxford, U.K. in 1964, an M.Sc. degree in Geology from the University of Alberta in 1966 and a Ph.D. degree from the Royal School of Mines, University of London, U.K. in Structural Geology in 1969. He returned to Canada, to the Elliott Lake Laboratory of the Canadian Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET) as a postdoctoral fellow in 1969. He joined the University of Ottawa in 1970 and the University of Alberta in 1971 with a joint appointment in Geology and Civil Engineering.
