Richard Fox

Richard C. Fox, appointed as Assistant Professor of Geology and Zoology in 1965, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College, Clinton, NY in 1955, Master of Arts degree from the State University of New York and Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY in 1957, and Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, in 1965. He was appointed to this University for the purpose of establishing a program in teaching and research in vertebrate paleontology, resulting from a conference on vertebrate paleontology held here in 1963 under the auspices ofDrs. Ross and Folinsbee, then Dean of Science and Head of Geology, respectively.
